I have a 2000 gallon and 2500 gallon truck and I'm thinking about buying a 3600 gallon truck. Most of my business is residential.

I'm curious what kind of responses others get from residential customers to that size of truck. What's too big?

I have one 2000 gallon on a tamden axel and two 3600 gallon trucks. We do about 1200 homes a year. I might get 4 or 5 homes a year where I have to trim some tree limbs to get in. We keep trimers on the truck. One or two a year where the trucks are just to big. We carry 180 foot of 3" hose on the trucks.

Thats right on limb trimming , most large trucks have tall exhaust pipe stacks also that get in the way, If your going to do mostly rual jobs keep truck down to a 2500 gal . or 33000gvws, unless you do'nt mind all the scratches and dings a large truck may encounter....
