Grit controll in septic trucks

What is the best way to help reduce grit build up in a septic truck? Thanks in advance... Sewerdude1

Front intakes!

Installed in front head, bottom center.

How does this help... Should we pull from the front or discharge from the front, or simply mix up both operations?
