We dry our units to make it more comfortable for the users after we leave and it give us one more chance to catch dust, dirt or grime that might not have come off in the scrubbing process. It requires more time, effort and supplies. If you are in a hot, dry climate where the unit will dry itself in a few minutes you might not want to bother with it. We are in Oregon and if we didn't dry the unit, it would stay wet for at least a day in most cases.

We do not dry any of our units. If the customer askes, I tell them that taking a rag and rubbing it all over the unit just spreads germs that come from the truck, the rag, the tec., or from the toilet itself, making sure that the unit is covered in germs. Plus most disinfectants work best if left on for several minutes. If they persist I squeegee the seat area off.

Certain times of the year, like in the heat of summer when portables are really being used more, they'll dry on their own.

Its interesting to hear so many opinions, we have opted for the anti -bacterial spray and a full wipe down after cleaning, the toilet still looks wet but the disenfectant gives a nice all over clean smelling toilet and we think thats what customers notice first. If it smell clean then it must have been cleaned !

Gettin started !!!! That was then, this is now, I have been pumping and dumping like a demon for the last year, I kid you not , It has been a bumper year for us and I wish we had discovered the industry 20 yrs ago, I cant wait for this world financial meltdown to end and the house building starts back because when it does we will be right in the thick of it. For the last year we have been doing a mix of our own work and sub-contracting to the bigger national companys but we have been seeing our own stuff build very week and we have brocken into the shower rental business foe events and festivals and think that we are getting the contracts because we do both and the organisers dont have to deal with 2 company just one.
