As much as I would like to support the professional service truck manufactures, I figured the costs associated with acquiring a fully outfitted toilet truck were more for the "big boys" that have rental units in the thousands. However, after doing some investigating, I have found that this is not the case. Several of the large toilet rental companies also build their own service trucks from scratch. They utilize the slow times of the year by having employees work on building these trucks. They also seem to all have different ideas about the perfect setup. It also came up several times that all of these rental companies that I spoke with had the same problem buying all the individual parts and pieces to outfit their trucks. They said that in most cases they have to order parts from several different suppliers and that some of these suppliers were not the most reliable. Maybe there is an opportunity for someone out there to take advantage of this under served market. A one-stop-shop may be just what this industry needs. Is there a company out there that fits-the-bill?

Toico is carrying most of the things you would need to put a truck together, minus of course the tank. Most local fab shops would be able to guide you in the right direction for a tank builder in your area. Make sure they weld the sadles on straight. Dad had a tank built years ago that the saddles were twisted. Not good!
