Hi there folks, I am a small portable toilet / septic company in Scotland and we need to buy a small treatment plant to handle our waste, We produce about 2 to 5000 gallons per week, we currently discharge this straight to the public sewar under license from our water authority but we get lots of blockages and sediment in our holding tanks, we read that you guys dry & Dewater your waste, here we tend to "Skim" the debris and flush the rest.
What do you guys recomend as a good cost effective sollution that is easy installed and easy on the pocket

Thats a tricky question.

All considerations should include government regulations, initial project cost, operational project cost, and how much space is available.

A lot of small systems in the states used small lagoons for a number of years, but these are being phased out due to increasing regulations. The last one I know of that was placed online was in 2002.

Your best bet would probably contacting someone local, either in your local government or whatever agency handles your discharge/operational permitting.
