Does anyone know of a pumper who has built there own large septic system to dump there waste in? Say a 50,000 gallon tank and 1 acre leach field , something of this nature. Maybe a pump system to disperse the effluent in timed intervals. I am looking for cases of this that has been done. Thank you, doug

It seems to me dewatering would be more beneficial. Then you might be able to get a permit to dispose of the supernate via drainfield.

I don't know how the system works but I do know that in Indiana some of the large farmers have tanks set up with lines in the fields. That way they don't have to spread the waste from cattle. I have a friend that did a system like that here in North Carolina if you want to talk to him. It was also at a dairy farm.
