Yeah, it's way bad. I've got units on trailers stored at my house as my yard is stuffed full. On the plus side I've been able to sell off some of my old junk. I sold enough the other day to pay my salary next month!

My summer is like my winter, but on the flip side i save more money and spend alot less on repairs. But I also replaced my fleet with NPR's and they havent given any trouble yet.

Keep us posted on the new trucks. I've heard parts are expensive.

Oh they are cheap as chips!
Its a little more expensive then the Ford Super duties of the same era but they are very superior to the Ford in most respects.... let me name a few pros and cons.
Pros.
Better viability then ford
Better Turn Radius
Better Fuel Economy
Better Reliability
Easier To Fix
Cons
Less Powerful
Less Comfortable
Parts Slightly More Expensive
I bought these trucks with 100k on them, have since put 50k, all we've done was to change the oil and fix one rubber brake line that broke. The best part is all the engine parts are right in front of you unlike the ford, you can access anything while the engine is in the truck, you can even rebuild it in the truck.
About having less power, its a good thing especially if you have drivers working for you, they dont need to be racing my trucks around. They say that they have trouble up hills, well its got 175hp so even on the steep freeway grades it does well, its able to hold 50-60 mph, though the fords we had could do 70.

Yeah the Fords will cruise right along that's for sure. I've got GPS tracking in my service trucks. One of the features is to set a speed limit alarm. When the truck gets within a couple miles an hour of the limit it beeps once or twice. If you get to the max set limit it will start beeping continously, making the driver slow down or listen to that damn beeping!:D It also keeps track of speeding, harsh braking, etc. We do alot of work in the hills so the added power the Fords have are pretty nice.
We now run primarily Internationals now. I don't think I'd buy another new one. Too many electrical gremlins.
We've been having alot of fuel problems now too.

Well while you can manage speeding can you manage hard acceleration? Where is your company located?
I had an international, what a lemon, electrical problems, engine rebuild at 100k not because it was worn out but because a o ring broke on the sleeve. Got 10mpg which isnt bad for such a large truck but it is not the kind of truck alot of people can drive, the Isuzu IS!
One thing the International has on the Isuzu NPR's is air brakes, great for hills, you are always confident the truck will stay there, with cable e brake its always a gamble. Now going up hills at lower speeds the NPR does great, your not going at a snails pace, its quite good. If you havent driven an LCF you should give the Isuzu a try its easier then driving the Ford, much easier.
Here is a list of all company trucks ive had over the years....
Toyota: Great reliability, but no diesel option, and too small
Ford: Tranny problems, Horrible turn radius, truck smaller then tank thus making it a bit tricky to judge a tight squeeze
Chevy: 6.2 diesels suck, sold both trucks due to engine problems
UD: Horribly slow, extremely expensive, bad fuel economy, no dealers to take it to, small cabin, good turn radius
Fuso: Gas Guzzler, EXTREMELY expensive (brake pads $200 per shoe), springs brake all the time, poor dealer support, GREAT turn radius.
Isuzu: good power, cheap parts, good fuel economy, roomy cabin, easy to get in and out, great dealer support, good turn radius (the worst of the LCFs we had, but better then any of the other trucks).

The GPS will tell me about jack rabbit starts too. The Internationals won't take off fast enough to trigger it though.
I'm in Molalla, Oregon. We're backed up to the foothills of the Cascade range.
I doubt I'll be buying any trucks anytime soon but I do have an old Ford that is next on the list. I'd consider an Isuzu but I need a four wheel drive on this one.
I had the dreaded liner o-ring fail on one of mine too. The dealer wanted to rebuild the whole engine. My local mechanic took it all apart, cleaned everything put new o-rings in the cylinder and put it back together. So far so good. We've got 30,000 miles on it since then.
