Default any southern pumpers working the oil spill?

a man i sold a pump truck to @5 years ago called me last month to tell me that BP was paying anybody with any kind of pump truck to be down on the coast on stand-bye. and he signed on and was getting paid to sit and hang out, hav'nt heard from him since the oil started coming ashore. anyone else have any trucks down there?

im located in south florida and havent heard of anyone going over to be on stand by. people have been talking about getting their boat cleared to go help with the cleanup because they work 20 min on and 40 min off
